Data Analyst - customer trends (San Diego, CA)

Silverline Hospitality is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for supplier orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in supplier orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
