Data Analyst - customer trends (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Quarry Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Diego. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in proof of delivery and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
