Data Analyst - customer trends (San Antonio, TX)

Cedar Union Civic Services Group supports public agencies in San Antonio with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in budget submissions and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on case files. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
