Data Analyst - customer trends (San Antonio, TX)

Amberfield Ember Markets Group is a San Antonio retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 612 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on store inventory.
