Data Analyst - customer trends (Salt Lake City, UT)

Redstone Lantern Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Salt Lake City, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on policy renewals. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
