Data Analyst - customer trends (Salt Lake City, UT)

Amberfield Quarry Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Salt Lake City presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 128 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
