Data Analyst - customer trends (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Bright Juniper Environmental Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
