Data Analyst - customer trends (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Basin Arts Center is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in visitor services and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on exhibitions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
