Data Analyst - customer trends (Salt Lake City, UT)

Cedar Clear Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Salt Lake City working with agencies and riders, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on survey data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
