Data Analyst - customer trends (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Beacon Community Partners and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in benefits enrolment and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client intake. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
