Data Analyst - customer trends (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Junction Markets and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 709 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
