Data Analyst - customer trends (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath Maple Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 66 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on store inventory. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
