Data Analyst - customer trends (Sacramento, CA)

Nova Linden Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Sacramento. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in scheduling and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on test reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
