Data Analyst - customer trends (Rochester, NY)

Redstone Umber Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Rochester, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in reviews and feedback and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on supplier orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
