Data Analyst - customer trends (Rochester, NY)

Bluepeak Junction Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Rochester, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on store inventory. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
