Data Analyst - customer trends (Richmond, VA)

Amberfield Quarry Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Richmond, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 114 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
