Data Analyst - customer trends (Richmond, VA)

Foxglove Cobalt Construction is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in materials orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
