Data Analyst - customer trends (Reno, NV)

Cedar Thistle Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Reno. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Reno. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
