Data Analyst - customer trends (Reno, NV)

Clearpath Ember Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Reno. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
