Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Nova Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Seattle, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
