Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Foxglove Thistle Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Dallas, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
