Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Fernwood Lantern Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
