Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Westbrook Linden Foods is a Buffalo food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 641 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in allergen controls and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
