Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Amberfield Glen Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on constituent requests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
