Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)
Silverline Kestrel Insurance Group · Remote · contract
Silverline Kestrel Insurance Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work.
You would join a small organisation of about 140 people, working mostly from home.
What you will do
• Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump.
• Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them.
• Build dashboards that managers actually open every week.
• Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere.
• Recommend changes and measure whether they worked.
What we are looking for
• Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills.
• Clear writing.
• The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it.
Nice to have
• Experience with data on customer complaints.
• Python or R for analysis.
Working arrangement
• Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension.
• Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Little Rock.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
