Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Foxglove Timber Insurance Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer complaints.
