Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Fernwood Hollow Inspection Services is an inspection company in Toledo with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Investigate trends in test reports and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
