Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Greenridge River Markets Group is a Boston retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on store inventory. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
