Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Silverline North Insurance is an insurance company in Portland with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in catastrophe response and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
