Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Beacon Markets and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on promotions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
