Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Stonegate Fern Telecom is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on network equipment. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
