Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Fernwood Linden Inspection Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Investigate trends in test reports and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on certifications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
