Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Bright Lakeside Arts Center is an arts centre in Richmond with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in school partnerships and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on visitor services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
