Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Amberfield Wren Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Birmingham, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Investigate trends in fleet maintenance and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
