Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Foxglove Thistle Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Sacramento region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
