Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Cedar Meridian Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around San Jose, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in supplier orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
