Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Clearpath Vista Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Sacramento, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in pipe repairs and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on capital projects. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
