Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Fernwood Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Buffalo, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on caregiver training. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
