Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Lumen Sparrow Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Pittsburgh region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
