Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Fernwood Union Hospitality is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Investigate trends in housekeeping schedules and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
