Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Rivermark Ashton Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Spokane. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
