Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Bluepeak Drift Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for constituent requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in constituent requests and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on case files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
