Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Northwind Kestrel Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Charleston. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in resident services and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on lease compliance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
