Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Nova Ashton Civic Services Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for budget submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Investigate trends in budget submissions and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on public records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
