Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Stonegate Umber Legal Group provides legal services in Richmond across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Investigate trends in intake forms and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
