Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Bright Vale Markets Group is a Albuquerque retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
