Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Nova Rook Housing Group manages affordable housing communities across Buffalo, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in rent assistance and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on lease compliance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
