Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Redstone Vale Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
