Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Cedar Markets Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 630 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on shrink and waste. • Python or R for analysis.
