Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Orchard Freight Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in loads and lanes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on carrier rates. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
